bloggin it up
Im still not sure what i am going to do for my dialogue. I suppose i could have people discussing the true interpretation of Shostakovitch's work, or have military officials trying to decide to denounce him again or not, but that would be hard for me to do, or find resources about. I kind of dont want to pick a new topic, because as said thats like starting over again. Oh well, i guess ill do some more research and try to decide again later.

Either of those things could work. I'm sure if you find some academic articles about him there's some dissent about some aspect of his work or life. There's somebody out there that's got it in for him and wants everybody else to hate him too, and there's some music scholar out there that worships him. If you did that research now, and found those people, you'd have to do a lot less for your final essay....
