Favorite Story
The best story for me has got to be the story lines on the show "Law and Order." The best plots, however, are the ones when that are "ripped from the headline." That's when they take a big story in the news, and turn it into a story that is made for a TV drama. For example, after the Michael Jackson Holding the baby over the balcony incident, "Law and Order" turned it into, what if a celebraty holding their baby over a balcony accedently dropped their baby? It clicks with me because I like real-life kind of stories, and "Law and Order" does that.

SO if you like real life sorts of stories, what general plans do you have to write one? What real life story have you heard of recently that you think could be tied into an essay topic pretty well?
I am a huge Law and Order SVU fan. I totally agree with you that the best plots are the ones ripped from the headlines. I think that by doing this the show allows people typically who don't watch the news the desire to search for what really happened in the actually case.
I love Law and Order Criminal Intent. All of the Law and Order shows are good because they use real life scenarios and show how the people will get caught at the end.
