The Importance of Words...

Many people don’t know how important words are. I never actually figured out how words can impact a person so much until completing this assignment. A simple word such as "graph" can just bring back so many memories for me. It brought back elementary and middle school memories I thought I totally forgot about. I can only imagine how that simple word can affect other people. This assignment just proved that one can look at a word and actually tell a story or recall an actual event that happened during his or her life. That’s just incredible how one word can actually make a person smile or even upset at times. It just proves that a simple word to me can be such an astonishing word to someone else. It tells me that words can only go as far as ones imagination can go. This assignment just tells me how powerful my writing can be. I can actually make people recall memories. I can bring in fear and courage, sadness and happiness, with just the power of something so simple but yet so incredible. My source of power would be my choice of words.
