Connections!!

When we did the meaning through association exercise in class it made it very apparent that meanings of words and the thoughts that follow, are highly impacted by my past. Any inside jokes or funny events that took place in my life relating to that word popped up. This accounts for most of the shall we say out of the ordinary associations I had. Words are very powerful especially if these words have to do with something in your life, past or present. My connections were also influenced by the room, many of my associations ended up pertaining to school and or the school setting. When finding connections for school and friends it was quite difficult to write down the first word that came to mind because my brain was flooded with words, images, and sounds. Many of which made me giggle to myself. After I began writing down my connections I realized that the words themselves began to connect and they were often used twice. Sometimes there was no explanation for the connections. In this case I believe a seemingly unimportant object or feeling my have revealed itself.
