- Hell
To me hell is a very scary thought. I feel that at the end of the world, there will be hell on earth. It's even more scary because it's the unknown to me.
- Movies
I can't deal with horror movies. They make me uncomfortable and I can't enjoy the movie.
- Death
Death will always be scary to me because you never exactly know whether you are going to stay on earth in hell or go up to heaven. You just have to try to live right while you are on earth.
- STD's
Point blank: some STD's you can't cure and you could die. Scary enough

See, now you've gone and done it: you've reminded the teacher of a story.
I had a student a few terms ago at a different school who gave her presentation and paper on STDs because she worked at a clinic and was amazed at how common they were (she was also studying to be a nurse). She was at the front of the room, I was at the back, and she asks for questions.
This one poor girl starts asking questions, and it becomes pretty clear to EVERYBODY that she has something and is trying to find out what it was. I tried to stop her from asking--I really did--but unfortunately she asked about very specific symptoms of chlamydia before I had a chance.
My students told me later that I had the most scared look on my face they'd ever seen. Dear lord, there are some things you just shouldn't admit to in front of 20 other people!!!
